About me

Carol Ann Knapp was born and raised in northwestern Connecticut.

During her teen years she spent a year living in Vero Beach, Fl with her aunt and uncle.  She returned to Connecticut where she married and raised two children.

In late 2004 she moved back to Vero Beach permanently.  After lengthy careers in retail, social work, and senior care, this self-taught artist retired in 2015 to pursue her first love; painting.

Her work has been shown at the Cinco de Mayo exhibit at Artist Guild Gallery in Vero Beach.  For many years she had participated in the annual Pelican Island Wildlife exhibition in Indian River County.  Recently her work was marketed at Manor Auctions in Vero Beach.

Known for never signing the front of her paintings (only on the back) she subtly incorporates her initials “ca” on the front for the viewer to search and find.
